Aavin Denies Reports of Milk Supply Reduction in Chennai, Says Distribution Continues Normally

Aavin has clarified that there is no reduction in milk supply across the Chennai Metropolitan area, dismissing reports that claimed otherwise. The State-run dairy cooperative said all milk variants continue to be supplied through its regular distribution network without any interruption.

According to Aavin, the city receives an average of 14.50 lakh litres of milk daily. It also highlighted that average daily milk sales have increased from 14.46 lakh litres in June 2025 to 14.82 lakh litres in June 2026, marking an increase of 36,000 litres per day.

The cooperative stated that milk distribution is being carried out based on consumer demand and normal operational requirements. Aavin reiterated its commitment to ensuring an uninterrupted supply of milk to consumers across Chennai.
