Establishing a new biotech park in Alapakkam in Chengalpattu dist!!
A new addition to the state of TN in the future!!
One of the prime destinations in India for the foreign investors is Tamil Nadu. The reason is because of the advanced infrastructure, industrial ecosystems and logistics capabilities etc present in TN. It is known that TN is home for several industries.
Now, TIDCO has invited tenders for preparation of the project report for a new biotechnology park in Alapakkam in Chengalpet district in TN. The park would be spread over 55 acres of land.
It must be noted that key contract manufacturers of Apple would be setting up companies in TN also. In Taramani in Chennai, there is already a biotechnology park. Now, TN government industrial development corporation or TIDCO has associated with the Union govt Department of Biotechnology to set up a biotech park in Alapakkam over 55 acres of land.
It is now said that research works with respect to medical collaborative research, medical biotechnology, vaccines, biologics etc would be carried out in the upcoming biotech park.
