VBJ Opens Tamil Nadu’s Largest Jewellery Showroom in Coimbatore with ₹900 Crore Investment

Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers (VBJ), one of India’s oldest and most trusted jewellery brands, has launched its largest showroom in Tamil Nadu on Coimbatore’s 100 Feet Road. Spread across 21,000 sq. ft. over three floors, the new showroom represents an investment of over ₹900 crore and marks the brand’s entry into the Coimbatore jewellery market.

The showroom features an extensive collection of gold, precious, jadau, diamond, solitaire and platinum jewellery. Customers can also explore GIA-certified diamonds, bringing internationally recognised diamond certification to Coimbatore for the first time through VBJ. Silver jewellery, silverware and its exclusive luxury concept, Atelier by VBJ, will open shortly.

With a legacy of 126 years, VBJ continues to expand its retail presence across South India and the USA. The company plans new showrooms in Tiruchirappalli and Hyderabad, further expansion in Chennai, and a new location in Milpitas, California.

The brand is targeting revenue of ₹5,000 crore by FY 2027–28. As part of the inauguration celebrations, customers can avail up to 20% off on making charges and value addition on select jewellery, 10% off on silver jewellery and an additional ₹125 per gram on old gold exchange, subject to terms and conditions.

The fifth-generation family-run jeweller is also renowned for creating the historic Sengol, which was installed in India`s new Parliament building, Sansad Bhavan.

The new Coimbatore showroom marks a significant milestone in VBJ`s expansion journey, bringing its heritage, craftsmanship and premium jewellery collections closer to customers in western Tamil Nadu.
