The Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) has unveiled its election manifesto ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly polls, with party coordinator Seeman announcing a series of ambitious and unconventional proposals.

A key highlight is the plan to create five capital cities in Tamil Nadu - Tiruchirappalli as the administrative capital, Chennai as the technological hub, Coimbatore as the industrial capital, Madurai as the cultural centre, and Kanyakumari as the spiritual capital. The party also proposes to shift the State Secretariat and Assembly to Tiruchirappalli.

Among other major announcements, NTK said it would change the Tamil Thai Vazhthu, introduce free education from primary level to PhD, and enforce a single-language policy with Tamil as the medium of instruction while keeping English compulsory.

The manifesto also promises free drinking water for all, a complete ban on liquor, and declares agriculture and livestock rearing as government jobs. It further includes 50% job opportunities for women, a separate ministry for persons with disabilities, and free healthcare and education mandates for politicians’ families in government institutions.

Additionally, the party has proposed death penalty for sexual offenders, a Supreme Court bench in Chennai, and greater state autonomy in revenue sharing, with 75% tax share for the state.

Seeman asserted that the party aims to deliver a people-centric and transparent governance model, stating that NTK is committed to building a fair and inclusive administration if voted to power.
