Paddy Crop Insurance: November 16 Is the Last Date to Enrol

Farmers cultivating paddy can enrol for crop insurance until November 16. The Agriculture Department has advised farmers to complete the registration before the deadline.

To register for crop insurance, farmers need to submit the following documents:

- Copy of Aadhaar card

- Bank account details

- Copy of the first page of the bank passbook

- Current crop cultivation Adangal issued by the Village Administrative Officer (VAO)

- Copy of Chitta

- Crop insurance proposal form

Farmers can register for crop insurance by submitting these documents at Common Service Centres (CSCs), Primary Agricultural Cooperative Credit Societies (PACCS), and branches of nationalised banks.

Agriculture officials have advised eligible farmers to complete the crop insurance registration within the stipulated deadline.
