National Apprenticeship Training Camp to Be Held in Chennai on June 10

Chennai District Collector has announced that a district-level National Apprenticeship Training Camp will be conducted on June 10, 2026, in Chennai.

The apprenticeship training camp will be held at the R.K. Nagar Industrial Training Institute (ITI). Candidates who have completed ITI, Class 8, Class 10 and Class 12 are eligible to participate in the selection process for apprenticeship training opportunities.

Officials stated that selected candidates will receive a National Apprenticeship Certificate after completing the training programme.

In addition, trainees selected through the National Apprenticeship Camp will receive a monthly stipend ranging from a minimum of ₹8,000 to a maximum of ₹18,000.

The camp is expected to provide employment and skill development opportunities for students and job seekers across Chennai and nearby districts.

Eligible candidates have been encouraged to participate in the apprenticeship camp and make use of the training and career opportunities offered through the programme.
