Southern Railway Extends 14 Special Train Services to Chennai, Bodi, Kanyakumari and Tirunelveli

The Southern Railway has extended the services of 14 special trains connecting Chennai with destinations including Bodi, Kanyakumari and Tirunelveli. The extension will provide additional travel options for passengers during September.

Tambaram - Bodi Special Train Service Extended

The Tambaram–Bodi special train (Train No. 06059) will operate for three additional services from September 12 to September 26.

In the return direction, the Bodi–Tambaram special train (Train No. 06060) has been extended for three services from September 13 to September 27.

Chennai Egmore - Kanyakumari Special Train Extended

The Chennai Egmore–Kanyakumari special train (Train No. 06045) will operate for four services from September 4 to September 25.

The return service, Kanyakumari–Chennai Egmore special train (Train No. 06046), will run for four services from September 6 to September 27.

Pothanur - Chennai Central Special Train

The Pothanur–Chennai Central special train (Train No. 06028) has also been extended, with 12 services scheduled from September 4 to September 27.

The corresponding return service, Train No. 06027, will also operate 12 services during the same period.

Tirunelveli - Tambaram Special Train Services

The Tirunelveli–Tambaram special train (Train No. 06070) will operate four services from September 3 to September 24.

In the return direction, the Tambaram–Tirunelveli special train (Train No. 06069) will operate four services from September 4 to September 25.

The extension of these special train services in September is expected to benefit passengers travelling between Chennai and southern Tamil Nadu, particularly those heading to Bodi, Kanyakumari and Tirunelveli.
