Chennai Metro Water Announces Water Supply Suspension in Korukkupet Areas from June 8

Chennai Metro Water has announced a temporary suspension of piped drinking water supply in parts of Korukkupet and Tondiarpet from 5 PM on June 8 to 8 PM on June 9 due to major pipeline connection works at Kathivakkam High Road and JJ Nagar A1 Street.
Areas likely to be affected include Ezhil Nagar, MGR Nagar, Bharathi Nagar, Kamarajar Nagar, and Ambedkar Nagar. Residents are advised to store sufficient water in advance.
Metro Water said drinking water can be obtained through tanker lorries under the "Dial for Water" service, while regular tanker supply to areas facing low pressure will continue during the maintenance period.
