Tamil Nadu Final Voter List 2026 to Be Released on February 23

The Tamil Nadu Final Voter List 2026 will be released on February 23 after the completion of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. Tamil Nadu Chief Electoral Officer Archana Patnaik will announce the district-wise electoral roll details.
During the revision, 97,37,831 names were removed from the draft list, reducing the total voter count to 5.43 crore. Nearly 66 lakh eligible and new voters were given an opportunity to reapply through Form 6. Additionally, over 12 lakh voters received notices to submit required documents.
As directed by the Election Commission of India, discrepancies were reviewed before finalizing the list. The updated electoral roll is crucial for the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections 2026.
