Tamil Nadu Updates Building Rules for Detached Houses
The Housing and Urban Development Department of Tamil Nadu has announced amendments to building rules for detached houses.
Under the new rules:

Detached houses up to 3,300 sq ft must have parking space for 2 cars and 2 two-wheelers.
-
Detached houses above 3,300 sq ft must have parking space for 4 cars and 4 two-wheelers.
In addition, all apartment buildings are now required to include infrastructure for internet and telecommunication services.
