Special Trains by Southern Railway to Accommodate Sabarimala Pilgrims Rush

In anticipation of the heightened passenger influx during the Sabarimala festival season, Southern Railway has announced the operation of special trains. Commencing on December 16 (Saturday), the No 06119 Tambaram - Kollam Sabari Special is scheduled to depart Tambaram at 1:30 pm, reaching Kollam at 6:45 am the following day. Correspondingly, the No 06120 Kollam - Tambaram Sabari Special will embark on December 17 (Sunday), departing Kollam at 10:45 am and arriving at Tambaram at 5:10 am the next day.

Facilitating the convenience of passengers, these specially designated trains will comprise two AC III tier coaches, five sleeper class coaches, 10 general second-class coaches, and two second-class coaches. This initiative aims to ensure a smooth and efficient transportation experience for devotees and travelers during the Sabarimala festival period.
