45 Gram Cakes for Students from LKG to Class 12

The School Education Department has planned to distribute 45-gram cakes to students from LKG to Class 12. The cakes will be provided on November 13, one day ahead of Children`s Day.

According to the instructions discussed with district-level education officials, the cakes will be cream-free. Four varieties of cakes have been ordered for distribution.

Cake Distribution Schedule and Arrangements

The cakes will be supplied to schools through District Supply Offices (DSOs) on November 10. The number of cakes allocated to each school will be based on student enrolment details available in the Educational Management Information System (EMIS).

Schools have been instructed to store the cakes safely and distribute them to students on November 13. The cakes are expected to remain usable for up to 50 days.

Cakes to Be Delivered to Students Who Are Absent

The department has also instructed schools to ensure that students who do not attend school on the distribution day are not left out. School representatives will be required to visit their homes and deliver the cakes.

CM Vijay`s Signed Greeting Cards for Children`s Day

Along with the cakes, the department is discussing arrangements to provide greeting cards signed by Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay. The proposal is part of the special arrangements planned for this year`s Children`s Day celebrations.

Senior education officials have discussed the distribution arrangements with district Chief Educational Officers (CEOs) and District Educational Officers (DEOs) through an online meeting. Officials have been asked to monitor the process and ensure that the programme is carried out smoothly without complaints.

The initiative is expected to add a special touch to Children`s Day celebrations for school students across Tamil Nadu.
