23000 live vacancies in 550 companies available across TN now- TN Govt private job portal!!
More than 50000 job seekers in Tamil Nadu got placed in top class companies in a short period of time and this was made possible by the TN government private job portal.
Now, this job portal has identified 23000 live vacancies across 550 companies in the state. This number has been increasing every day.
The Labour Welfare and Skill Development Department has been managing this portal and the main aim of the portal would be to provide job opportunities to many exclusively in the private sector through online mode.
It was later explained by some officials of the department that the online platform encourages private employers including MSMEs and large corporates to register their vacancies. Point is that the job seekers could register their educational qualifications and skills etc in the online portal.
The live and genuine vacancies that would be available on the web portal could be accessed by the job seekers at any time and this was as per a senior officer. He threw light about how currently as many as 10887 companies across various sectors have registered on this portal.
It is superb to mention here that till now 475037 job seekers have registered against 360001 job postings on the web portal. Successful placements were provided to as many as 54767 candidates through this superb portal.
On the morning of 22nd of October 2025, the number of live vacancies recorded stood at 23699 vacancies from 562 employers. By 8:30pm in the evening on the same day, the number of live vacancies recorded increased to 24090 from 572 employers. This has shown the steady growth in the recruitment activity.
The surprising piece of information is that the most searched job categories were non IT related ones only. The categories included agriculture, banking, automobile manufacturing, financial services etc.
