During the deepavali festival season in 2025, firecrackers worth Rs 7000 cr were sold. It must be recalled that in 2024 deepavali festival season, Rs 6000 cr of firecrackers were sold.

India`s fireworks capital or Sivakasi employs thousands of workers and it is responsible for 90% of firecrackers production in India. It was revealed by some traders that this year`s deepavali festival brought the much needed relief to the firecrackers industry.
