Yelagiri Express Gets Modern LHB Coaches for Enhanced Safety and Comfort

Passengers travelling on the Yelagiri Express can now enjoy a safer and more comfortable journey as Southern Railway has introduced modern Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches on the route.
The upgraded LHB coaches feature advanced safety systems, improved interiors, fire-resistant materials, efficient cooling systems, and superior suspension for a smoother ride. They are also equipped with pneumatic disc brakes that provide better braking performance at higher speeds.
Compared to conventional coaches, LHB coaches are lighter, require less maintenance, and offer enhanced passenger comfort. The move is part of Southern Railway`s ongoing efforts to modernize rail services and improve the travel experience between Jolarpettai and Chennai.
