The news that has come out now is that the district collector had mentioned that the pournami girivalam at this famous temple in Thiruvannamalai would be banned from 3:49 pm in the evening on 26th February 2021 to 2:42 in the evening on 27th February 2021. The reason for that was because of the Covid-19 control measures to control the spread of the pandemic.
