Tamil Nadu SSLC Mark Certificate Corrections: Students Can Apply for Changes Until June 15
The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, has issued important guidelines regarding corrections in SSLC (Class 10) mark certificates for students who appeared for the March 2026 public examinations.
According to the notification, students who have passed the SSLC examination can apply for corrections in details such as name, photograph, parent`s name, date of birth, and gender if any errors are found in their mark certificates. Applications for such corrections must be submitted by June 10, 2026.
The examination department has also provided additional time until June 15, 2026, for students seeking corrections related to names containing Sanskrit-based characters such as "Sri", "Sha", and "Sree", or for other spelling-related discrepancies in the provisional mark certificates.
Officials have advised students and parents to carefully verify all details in the mark certificates and submit correction requests within the stipulated deadlines to avoid future issues during higher education admissions and official documentation processes.
