Sun TV Network Launches Sun NXT Shorts for Short-Format Entertainment

Sun TV Network has launched Sun NXT Shorts, a new micro-drama service integrated into the Sun NXT app, offering short-form entertainment for mobile and television viewers.

The platform features 150+ titles and originals, including international dubbed shorts, blockbuster films and popular Sun TV serials that have been remastered and re-edited into fast-paced episodes in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

Popular titles such as Rajinikanth’s Endhiran, Suriya’s Ayan and Dhanush’s Thiruchitrambalam, along with popular serials including Ethirneechal, Kayal and Sundari, will be presented in a short-form format.

Sun NXT Shorts is designed for viewers who prefer quick, engaging stories that can be watched within a few minutes. The service also adapts the visual framing for different devices, offering a close-up viewing experience on smartphones and a 4:3 format for television screens.

According to Sun TV Network, the platform aims to attract younger digital audiences while continuing to engage its existing family audience through its extensive regional content library.
