CM Vijay Congratulates Tamil Nadu Teachers Selected for National Teachers Award

Two teachers from Tamil Nadu have been selected for the prestigious National Teachers Award 2026, with Chief Minister Vijay extending his heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to them.

The Chief Minister congratulated Thangaraj, a teacher at Puliyampatti Panchayat Union Primary School, and Amutha, a teacher at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya School in Madurai, for being selected for the national honour.

The National Teachers Award is presented by the President of India on the occasion of Teachers` Day to recognise teachers who have made outstanding contributions to education and student development.

Chief Minister Vijay expressed his sincere wishes and appreciation to both teachers, praising their dedication and service to students and noting that their achievement has brought recognition to Tamil Nadu`s education sector.
