Tamil Nadu Weather Update: Heavy Rain Expected in Delta Districts Soon

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has announced that heavy rainfall is expected to begin in the Delta districts Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam, and Mayiladuthurai from the day after tomorrow.
According to officials, a lower atmospheric circulation persists over the southwest and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal. Due to this system, light to moderate rainfall is likely over Tamil Nadu and Puducherry today and tomorrow.
From the day after tomorrow, heavy rain is expected specifically in the Delta region.
In Chennai and its suburbs, the sky will remain partly cloudy, with chances of light showers in a few areas.
