Rain Likely in 8 Districts of Tamil Nadu Till 4 PM Today

A low-pressure area currently prevailing over South India is expected to bring light to moderate rainfall across various parts of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal today. The Chennai Meteorological Department has forecast surface wind speeds reaching 40 to 50 kmph at isolated locations.
In its latest update, the department has predicted moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in eight districts of Tamil Nadu until 4 PM today (Tuesday). The affected districts are:
- Nilgiris
- Coimbatore
- Tiruppur
- Theni
- Dindigul
- Tenkasi
- Tirunelveli
- Kanyakumari
Residents in these districts are advised to stay informed and take necessary precautions, especially in areas prone to waterlogging and lightning strikes.
