Formation of a new low pressure in Bay of Bengal now!!
There were heavy rains in many places belonging to north Tamil Nadu due to the south west monsoon intensification. The temperature increased by 2 to 3 degrees in some places and in other places the temperature came down below normal by 1 to 2 degrees.
In south India, atmospheric air circulation has been present. Now, a low pressure has been formed in the Bay of Bengal. As a result, heavy rains occurred in Tirupattur, Vellore, Ranipet, Tiruvallur, Kancheepuram and Tiruvannamalai districts yesterday.
Today and tomorrow, there will be the possibility of thunder showers and strong winds blowing at speeds of 40kmph in few places in north TN and few places in south TN. From 22nd of September to 25th of September, light to moderate rains are likely to occur. In Chennai, sky would be partly cloudy today. In few places in Chennai, there are chances of moderate rains.
