TN Teacher Training Re-Exam 2026: Apply from March 26 | Last Date April 3
The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, has announced that students who failed in teacher training courses can apply as private candidates for the upcoming May–June 2026 examinations.
Candidates who studied in teacher training institutes and did not pass can now reappear for the exams by submitting applications through the official website: www.dge.tn.gov.in.

Application Start: March 26
Last Date: April 3
Special Permission Dates: April 6 & 7
Application Process:
- Download the application form from the official website
- Fill in the details and attach copies of previous mark sheets
- Submit through the respective District Institute of Education and Training (DIET)
Exam Fees:
- Per subject: ₹50
- First-year mark certificate: ₹100
- Second-year mark certificate: ₹100
- Registration & service fee: ₹15
- Online registration fee: ₹70
Candidates applying under the special permission scheme must pay an additional ₹1,000.
Students are advised to apply within the deadline and ensure all required documents are submitted correctly.
