CM Vijay Inspects Official Bungalow in Chennai, to Be Renamed Vettri Illam

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay on Thursday inspected his official government bungalow, Pamani Illam, located in Raja Annamalaipuram, Chennai. The bungalow is currently undergoing renovation to accommodate his official camp office.

Once the renovation work is completed, the government bungalow will be renamed Vettri Illam. The renovation includes the installation of modern security systems and other essential facilities required for the Chief Minister`s official activities.

CM Vijay Reviews Renovation Work at Pamani Illam

Chief Minister Vijay visited the bungalow to review the progress of the ongoing renovation work. The premises are being upgraded with improved security arrangements and facilities to support his official functions.

Why Is CM Vijay Shifting His Camp Office?

The decision to shift the Chief Minister`s camp office from Foreshore Estate to Raja Annamalaipuram was reportedly taken to reduce inconvenience to residents in the Foreshore Estate neighbourhood.

Whenever the Chief Minister stays at his residence in Foreshore Estate, the parking of security vehicles and movement of his security convoy reportedly cause difficulties for local residents.

To address these concerns, CM Vijay has decided to relocate his camp office to the renovated government bungalow at Raja Annamalaipuram.

After the renovation is completed, Vettri Illam is expected to serve as the Chief Minister`s new camp office in Chennai, providing the necessary facilities for his official activities.
