Chennai BlaBla Language Exchange - Event Content (English)
The Chennai BlaBla Language Exchange hosts a recurring meetup every other Thursday, bringing together language learners, expats, and locals for friendly cultural conversations. The event encourages participants to meet new people, build friendships, and practice multiple languages in a relaxed mingle-style setting.
The meetup is free, but attendees are required to order at least one beverage. Outside food and drinks are not allowed, and participants are expected to respect the venue, stay polite, and keep the area clean. Failure to follow guidelines may result in removal from the event or community.
English and the local language are commonly spoken, and those wishing to practice other languages can coordinate with the organizers or fellow participants. Photography and videography may occur during the event; anyone who prefers not to appear in photos can inform the team via Instagram (@blablalanguage). Attendees are also reminded to take care of their personal belongings.
The BlaBla community operates across 150+ cities worldwide, and volunteers are welcome to join as event organizers, photographers, or videographers. More details are available on the official BlaBla website.
