Changes in Train Services on April 28 Due to Engineering Work Between Arakkonam and Jolarpettai

Southern Railway has announced changes in the pattern of train services on April 28, 2025, due to engineering work being carried out at Chitteri Railway Station yard in the Arakkonam – Jolarpettai section.

To ensure passenger safety and the safe operation of trains, a Line Block/Signal Block has been scheduled from 11:20 hrs to 14:20 hrs (a duration of 3 hours). As a result, the following MEMU services will be fully cancelled:

Full Cancellation of MEMU Train Services – April 28, 2025:

1. Train No. 66062 – Vellore Cantt to Arakkonam MEMU
Departure Time: 10:00 hrs from Vellore Cantt

2. Train No. 66061 – Arakkonam to Vellore Cantt MEMU
Departure Time: 14:50 hrs from Arakkonam

Passengers are requested to make note of these cancellations and plan their journey accordingly.
