Assistant Receptionist Job Vacancy at Salem District Welfare Office: Apply by November 13

The Salem District Welfare Office for Persons with Disabilities has invited applications for the vacant post of Assistant Receptionist. Eligible candidates can apply on or before November 13, 2026, at 5 p.m., according to District Collector K. Elambhagavath.

Eligibility Criteria

The position is open to women candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste category who are completely visually impaired. Applicants must have passed Class 8 and be below 40 years of age. They must also have at least one year of experience in chair wire weaving.

Salary Details

The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary in the pay scale of ₹15,900 to ₹50,400 for the Assistant Receptionist Grade-II post, which has been vacant since August 1, 2023.
