Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra Price Leaked Ahead of Launch

Samsung is expected to unveil its next-generation foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, later this month. Ahead of the official launch, several details about the upcoming devices, including their expected pricing, have surfaced online.

The company is reportedly set to introduce the new foldable smartphones during its Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22. While Samsung is yet to confirm the pricing, recent leaks have provided an early look at what buyers can expect.

Expected Price

According to leaked information, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra could be priced at around $2,000, which translates to more than ₹1,90,800 in India. Reports also suggest that Samsung may introduce a slightly wider foldable smartphone alongside the Ultra model.

The upcoming foldable devices are also expected to feature Google Gemini AI capabilities, offering a range of advanced artificial intelligence features.

Higher Price Than Previous Model

A report by SE Daily claims that the 256GB variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra could be priced at $2,099 (approximately ₹2,00,300) in the US market.

If the leaked pricing proves accurate, the new model will cost $100 more than the previously launched Galaxy Z Fold 7. Industry reports suggest the price increase is likely due to rising manufacturing costs.

Expected Specifications

The latest reports indicate that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Samsung`s wider foldable smartphone could be the first devices to ship with One UI 9 integrated with Google Gemini AI features.

Previous leaks also suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 may be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and pack a 4,800mAh battery.

In terms of cameras, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to feature dual 50MP primary camera sensors, while the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra could offer a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera.

Samsung is expected to reveal the official pricing, specifications, and availability of the new foldable smartphones during the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22.
