Light to moderate rain may occur at isolated places across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal.

Early morning hours: Light fog expected at isolated places across the state.
Minimum temperatures (Dec 23–25): Likely to be 2–4°C below normal at a few places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal.

Nilgiris district may witness frost during night and early morning hours at isolated locations.
