Chennai Gold Rate Today, November 5, 2026: 22K Gold Rises by ₹285 per Gram

Gold prices in Chennai increased on Thursday, November 5, 2026, according to the latest Madras Jewellers and Diamond Merchants Association (MJDTA) rates. The price of 22-carat gold rose by ₹285 per gram, while 18-carat and 14-carat gold prices increased by ₹220 and ₹210 per gram, respectively. Silver prices remained unchanged.

The latest gold and silver prices in Chennai are:

22-carat gold: ₹13,385 (+₹285)

18-carat gold: ₹10,955 (+₹220)

14-carat gold: ₹8,845 (+₹210)

Silver: ₹210 (No change)

22-Carat Gold Price Increases in Chennai

The price of 22-carat gold increased by ₹285 per gram, reaching ₹13,385 from the previous rate of ₹13,100.

As a result, the price of one sovereign of gold (8 grams) increased by ₹2,280, reaching ₹1,07,080 from ₹1,04,800.

Silver Rate Remains Unchanged

Silver is priced at ₹210 per gram in Chennai, equivalent to ₹2,10,000 per kilogram. The rate remained unchanged compared with the previous trading session.
