Awards to promote plastic-free environment by Tamil Nadu Government

The Tamil Nadu government in a bid to encourage plastic-free environment has proposed to give awards to three villages, self-help groups and schools that excel in collecting plastic waste. The winners shall get 5 lakh, 3 lakh and 2 lakh.
