Setting up of 50 bedded AYUSH Hospital at Arumbakkam in Chennai!!
On the premises of Arignar Anna Indian Hospitals in Arumbakkam, a GO has been issued to set up a 50 bedded AYUSH hospital.
A GO has been issued by Mr. Senthil Kumar, secretary of PWD. It must be noted that the PWD minister has announced in the assembly that a new building with 50 beds would be constructed in the premises of Arignar Anna Indian Medicine and Homeopathy department. Possibilities of such construction were explored. The Indian Medical Commissioner gave several recommendations to the TN government.
It is now mentioned that after careful consideration the TN govt has given its approval for establishing an integrated AYUSH Hospital there. An amount of Rs 18.15 cr would be used to construct the hospital at Arumbakkam. An amount of Rs 6.90 cr would be allotted as the contribution from the TN government. On the behalf of National AYUSH Commission, Rs 11.25 cr would be received.
