Super Chennai Initiative Launched to Elevate City’s Global Livability Ranking
In a bold move to position Chennai among the top 100 most livable cities in the world, CREDAI (Confederation of Real Estate Developers` Associations of India), in collaboration with various stakeholders, has launched the ‘Super Chennai’ initiative. As part of the campaign, a dedicated website — http://www.superchennai.com was unveiled on Thursday to promote the city as a global brand.
Envisioned as more than just a website, Super Chennai is a citizen-driven movement that integrates community voices, real-time city updates, and Chennai’s rich cultural heritage into a unified digital platform. The initiative, supported by CREDAI-Chennai, is the outcome of extensive collaboration with technologists, civic experts, entrepreneurs, artists, and local residents.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin had earlier launched the Super Chennai logo at FAIRPRO 2025, symbolizing the state`s vision for a future-ready Chennai. The website is now the next step in that vision — a participatory, digital-first platform aimed at reimagining Chennai not just as a bustling metro, but as a globally recognized, forward-thinking urban hub.
