Spiritual trip from Tiruvottiyur to many Amman Temples in this Aadi month!!
Aadi month has begun now. It is well known that in the month of Aadi Amman temples would be buzzing with activities.
It was announced in this year`s grant request in the Assembly that 2000 devotees would be taken on a spiritual journey to various Amman temples in the Aadi month. Accordingly, the devotees would be taken on the spiritual journey free of cost to several famous Amman temples in the districts like Chennai, Madurai, Trichy, Thanjavur, Kovai, Erode and Tirunelveli.
Important piece of information is that the senior citizens between the age 60 and 70 would be taken on the spiritual trip on 25th July, 1st August, 8th August and 15th August. Point is that the spiritual trip to the Amman temples in Aadi month begins from today morning from Chennai.
All roads would lead to the famous Vadivudai Amman temple in Tiruvottiyur today as the HR and CE minister Mr. Sekarbabu would be hoisting a flag to inaugurate the spiritual journey event from here.
The devotees would be provided with special darshan and lunch at the famous temples like Vadivudaiamman temple in Tiruvottiyur, kalikambal temple in Parrys Corner, Karpagambal temple in Mylapore, Devi Karumari Amman temple in Thiruverkadu and Kamakshi Amman temple in Mangadu.
