Free MTC Bus Tokens for Senior Citizens from July to December

The Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) will offer free bus travel tokens to senior citizens in Chennai for a period of six months, from July to December 2025.
Eligible individuals can collect 10 tokens per month between June 21 and July 31, from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM, at 40 designated bus stands across the city, including Adyar, T Nagar, Central Railway Station, Tambaram MEPS, Kilambakkam, and more.
To avail the tokens, beneficiaries must provide proof of residence, age proof, a valid ID, and two colour photographs. This initiative aims to support the mobility of senior citizens by offering them cost-free public transportation throughout the city.
