Celebrating Cooperative Day in Chennai through Marathon!!
The amazing news that has come out now is on 6th of July 2025 a marathon will be held in Chennai. The important reason for the marathon would be to celebrate the Cooperative Day.
According to the statement from the Cooperative department due to superb activities of the cooperatives the poor people have witnessed huge development in their socio-economic life. It is worth mentioning that cooperatives have attained special status as an inclusive social organisation.
Information gathered is that to celebrate the glorious achievements of cooperatives and to celebrate the International Year of Cooperatives 2025 and to celebrate International Cooperative Day etc a marathon would be held on 6th July. The marathon would start from the famous Island Grounds in Chennai.
In this upcoming marathon event one category would be for those between the age 18 and 40 and another category would be for those above the age of 40. The marathon would be held separately for men and women.
It is superb to note that the participants would be issued a medal plus certificate, T-shirt and refreshments free of cost. The first prize would be Rs 30000 and the second prize would be Rs 20000. An amount of Rs 10000 would be given as the third prize.
