2 Degrees to 3 Degrees increase in the temperature today in TN!!

The Regional Meteorological Centre or RMC in Chennai has informed that today, 19th June 2025 the maximum temperature would be 3 degrees higher than the normal.
It has been mentioned in the release from RMC Chennai that on Wednesday, 18th June, Meenambakkam and Madurai airport recorded the highest maximum temperature of 101.84 degrees Fahrenheit. This was followed by Erode with a maximum temperature of 101.48 degrees Fahrenheit. Vellore and Cuddalore recorded a maximum temperature of 101.12 degrees Fahrenheit and 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit respectively. Thoothukudi and Nungambakkam in Chennai recorded maximum temp of 100.04 degrees Fahrenheit respectively. At 7 paces the maximum temperature crossed 100 degrees yesterday and this caused lots of discomfort for the public.
The maximum temperature today would be 2 to 3 degrees more than the normal in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal etc.
Rains to continue:
It is learnt that the storm that has formed on the Bay of Bengal has moved west and north western direction and it has intensified into a low pressure area. It is expected that on Thursday, 19th of June, it would move in the north- west direction and move through Jharkhand.
In this scenario from 19th to 24th June, there are chances of moderate rains in TN, Puducherry and Karaikal. On 19th June, Chennai and its suburbs are likely to receive light rains. The maximum temp would be close to 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit.
