Integrated Bus Hub with Commercial Complex Coming Up in Vadapalani at ₹800 Crore
In a major step toward urban infrastructure development, Chennai is set to get a state-of-the-art Integrated Bus Hub with a Commercial Complex in Vadapalani. The project, undertaken by the Chennai Metro City Development Company, is estimated to cost ₹800 crore and will be developed over 6.65 acres of prime land.
The project will feature a modern bus terminal on the ground floor, designed to handle up to 1,475 passengers and provide parking facilities for wheeled vehicles for up to 214 days.
Above the terminal, the development will include 10 floors of corporate office space, catering to Chennai’s growing demand for commercial real estate. Floors 11 and 12 have been earmarked for specialized sectors such as animation, gaming, and casting departments, promoting creative and tech-based industries.
The 5th floor of the complex will host restaurants, shopping malls, and solar cell infrastructure, blending transit convenience with leisure and sustainability.
The project is expected to be a model for integrated urban mobility and commercial development, making Vadapalani a new landmark hub in Chennai.
