Following points regarding dengue & swine flu prevention should be given to all school headmasters/principals through the respective primary education officers.

Headmasters/principals and teachers, should inform the students about these points and create awareness regarding symptoms of dengue & swine flu.

Teachers & students must wash their hands regularly especially, before every meal session.

         Classes should be kept clean.

No stagnant water must be allowed in classrooms or around the toilets. IF there is some stagnant water in an area, action must be taken to remove it immediately.

The districts of Dindigul, Andipatti, Theni, Coimbatore, Nagapattinam, Thirunelveli, Thiruvarur, Virudhunagar, and Villupuram should give top priority to creating awareness about dengue & swine flu fevers.
