Step into Tirupathi only with traditional wears
It is not mandated for all devotees visiting Thirupathi temple to wear traditional dresses as per customs. The temple not just receives devotees from within the country, but from across the globe. Over 65000 to 70000 individuals keep thronging in to the temple every day. As of now, those who take part in the �Kalyana Urchava Seva� stick on to wearing traditional dresses.
The Dhevasthanam has now imposed a new rule that those visiting the temple should wear traditional wears like dhotis, saree, etc.
