Martial arts training for tribal girls

The Tamil Nadu state government has decided to train tribal girls in the martial art of karate in their schools in a bid to encourage self-defence among girls. The training would be given to girls in districts of Nilgiris, Namakkal, Salem,Tiruvannamalai and Dharmapuri.
