�E-visa� system is to be introduced in the airports to promote tourism.
While presenting the general budget for 2014-15, Finance Minister, Mr. Arun Jaitley, spoke about the plans to introduce �e-visa� system in airports to facilitate the foreign tourists to get visas in quick time.
- The system will be implemented in 6 months.
- The other measures indicated during the general budget presentation:
- Home Ministry will get a fund of Rs. 150 Crores for Women�s security.
- The old citizensďż˝ pension scheme will be extended up to August, 2015.
- Braille system to be implemented in Indian Rupee Notes for the benefit of vision-impaired.
