Even though there prevails a sink in the air commuter count, Chennai airport manages to maintain more international travelers every year when compared to both Bangalore and Hyderabad.

The amenities of the international airport lingers terrible, due to the lack of interest of Airports Authority of India (AAI).

Chennai has huge international network connectivity, but still AAI has dribbled away its improvement. Chennai airport can control nearly more than 45, 37, 677 international commuters during 2013-2014. But, even now the AAI provides lousy handling to commuters.

Traveler’s departures out of the old terminal will be welcomed by unclean corridors. Albeit people departures from old terminal, their friends and relatives will be in need of checking the status of the flight details only in the new terminal display board.

The arrival hall at the new-tangled terminal will be soon starts it’s functioning by the AAI.  We are proposing for a meeting in the subsequent week to discuss regarding the opening of the arrival hall of the international terminal, said a senior AAI official.
AAI has intended to construct a new international terminal and incorporate it with a modernized old terminal. Owing to this, the new terminal was not owed enough space and amenities. And now the new terminal is assisted for departures but the managements are hitherto to alter the old terminal.
