Train Services Changed Tomorrow: 13 Trains Affected Due to Signal Work
Due to automatic signalling work between Jolarpettai and Thottampatti, changes have been announced in the services of 13 trains for March 24, according to Southern Railway.
6 Trains Cancelled
The following trains have been fully cancelled:
- Arakkonam – Salem MEMU Express (05:15 AM)
- Salem – Arakkonam MEMU Express (03:30 PM)
- Coimbatore – Chennai Central Intercity Express (06:20 AM)
- Chennai Central – Coimbatore Intercity Express (02:30 PM)
- Erode – Jolarpettai Passenger (06:00 AM)
- Jolarpettai – Erode Passenger (02:45 PM)
Trains Delayed
- Vande Bharat Express (Chennai Central – Coimbatore) scheduled at 2:15 PM will depart at 4:15 PM (2-hour delay)
- Coimbatore – Chennai Express scheduled at 3:15 PM will depart at 5:15 PM (2-hour delay)
Other Changes
- 2 express trains will run with around 1.5-hour delays and additional stoppages
- 3 trains will be diverted through alternate routes
