Tamil Nadu Birth Certificate Update: Online Application Exemption Announced
The Government of Tamil Nadu has issued an important notification granting a temporary exemption from online birth certificate applications across the state.
Key Details of the Government Order
As per the latest directive, Zonal Deputy Tahsildars and Taluk Deputy Tahsildars are permitted to issue birth certificates with manual signatures. This allows citizens to obtain birth certificates directly from the respective Taluk offices without using the online portal.
Exemption Period
The exemption will be in force from today until the 25th of next month. During this period, applicants are not required to submit requests through the online system.
