Thayumanavar Scheme: Home Delivery of Ration Goods in Chennai from November 3 to 6

Under the Thayumanavar Scheme, the Tamil Nadu Government has announced home delivery of ration goods to senior citizens above 65 years and differently-abled persons in Chennai. The initiative will be carried out from November 3 to 6, through 990 ration shops operating under the Cooperative Department across 15 Chennai zones, including Anna Nagar, Alandur, Perungudi, Sholinganallur, Teynampet, Adyar, Thiruvottiyur, Manali, Madhavaram, Tondiarpet, Royapuram, Thiru.Vi.Ka Nagar, Ambattur, Kodambakkam, and Valasaravakkam.
The move aims to ensure doorstep access to essential ration items for the elderly and differently-abled beneficiaries in Chennai.
