Free WiFi Now Available at Chennai Airport’s International Terminal
n a welcome move for international travelers, free WiFi access has now been introduced at the T2 International Terminal of Chennai Airport. This long-awaited facility, provided by the Airports Authority of India (AAI), went live on Wednesday and has already been used by nearly 200 passengers.
To ensure smooth access, four kiosks have been installed two each in the departure and arrival halls. AAI has also deployed dedicated staff to assist passengers with the process.
How to Access WiFi:
- Scan your passport and boarding pass at the kiosk.
- Receive an OTP slip for login.
- Enjoy up to 500 MB of free data.
AAI officials mentioned their aim was to launch the service before June 30, and initial feedback has been positive. Any technical issues, if reported, will be addressed immediately, they assured.
This initiative marks a significant step in enhancing the passenger experience at Chennai’s international terminal.
