Students seeking admission to Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) and Annamalai University can now apply online through the official website [http://tnau.ucanapply.com](http://tnau.ucanapply.com) from May 9 to June 8, 2025.
The application fee is set at:
₹600 for students from the General, Backward Class (BC), and Most Backward Class (MBC) categories.
₹300 for students belonging to the Adi Dravidar, Arundhatiyar, and Tribal communities.
This academic year, a total of 6,971 seats are available for admission in Tamil Nadu Agricultural University.
Special Reservations Applicable:
7.5% reservation for government school students
5% for professional education course aspirants
Quotas for outstanding sports achievers
5% reservation for differently-abled persons
Special reservation for descendants of ex-servicemen
New Courses Introduced:
Two new undergraduate programs - Agricultural Information Technology and Bioinformatics - have been launched this year, with 80 seats allocated in total.
Counseling for admissions is scheduled to begin from June 16, 2025.
Meanwhile, a search committee has been formed to appoint a new Vice-Chancellor for Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. The committee will oversee the selection process in the coming weeks.
