Prices of 42 essential medicines reduced by 15 percent
Prices of 42 essential medicines used in treatment of various ailments including tuberculosis and cancer was reduced by 15 percent.
M Venkaiah Naidu, Union Minister for Urban Development, Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation, Parliamentary Affairs has confirmed this on his Twitter page. He has tweeted: Center reduces prices of medicines by 15% for TB, Cancer, Asthma, Depression and related 42 essential drugs.
He has also tweeted: Happy news for farmers, Indian Potash Ltd (IPL) reduces the price of Muriate of Potash (MoP) by Rs. 200 per bag
