Candlelight vigil participants ask for safer city
A candlelight vigil in memory of Swathi was held on Sunday. The event was attended by hordes of people from all walks of life. They expressed solidarity with the grieving family.
Participants also spoke about the safety of women in general and train commuters in particular. They called for increased sensitivity among the public to ensure that such incidents do not happen again. They demanded visible policing and speedy justice.
